Parfait is such a delight that we can’t only enjoy them as a dessert. Whip up a healthy, delicious, yet hassle free yogurt parfait any time of the day.

As I lately have some time, I had been surfing on the internet the other day. Trying to find new, fascinating thoughts, inspiring meals that I have never used before, to astonish my family with. Searching for a long time unfortunately couldn’t discover any interesting stuff. Just before I wanted to give up on it, I came across this yummy and easy treat by chance. It seemed so fabulous on its pic, that called for fast action.

It had been not difficult to imagine just how it is made, how it tastes and how much my hubby might like it. Mind you, it is very easy to delight the guy when it comes to desserts. I had been tweaking the original mixture to make it for the taste of my family. I have to tell you it absolutely was a terrific outcome. Put the nuts of your choice into a food processor and chop it to desired sized chunks. Mind not to overdo it as that would result in some rough nut flour that not necessarily our goal here.

Mix sweetener of choice and vanilla extract with the chopped nuts for a bit more of excitement in flavor. It’s an optional step that can be completely left out.

Roast the chunks of nuts in a frying pan on medium heat while stirring occasionally until the whole batch gets a throughout golden brown color.

Take it off the heat and let it cool down. Optionally, make a bigger batch in the oven essentially creating keto granola.

Make the layers with yogurt, berries of choice and the roasted nuts.
